Learn about birding, bird behavour and how to see them so you can then learn to capture great photographs of these critters.
This bird photography workshop is ideal for artists and creators who want to take their own reference photos.
Bring any camera you have, it could be a ‘point-and-shoot’, a smartphone with a zoom, or an SLR type of camera. Improve your skills to be able to capture better photos.
We will begin at sunrise, seeing the sun rise from the Pacific Ocean. We will photograph near a pond, before moving into the forest and will finish in an open field area. This offers a range of photography options, skills and environments to be able to capture more birdlife.
This workshop is approximately 4 hours.
Limited to 10 participants.
Meet at 7.00 am on Hinewai Reserve, Banks Peninsula. Bring your camera and your walking shoes. Learn from Steve to capture shots of Hinewai Reserve’s birdlife.

Due to the use of photographic equipment, this tour will be cancelled in the event of rain. We will make a decision by 8 pm on Sept 28, the night before the tour, and will send an email to confirm or cancel. You will have the option to transfer to another (as yet unspecified date) or accept a 90% refund.
