This Kaka is a fine art giclée print of graphite on paper artwork.
It’s great to see Kaka numbers increasing after their population declined with the introduction of homo sapiens to Aotearoa/NZ.
Kaka are a large NZ native parrot. Their beaks are so strong they use them like a limb to help climb and swing about in their environment.
These noisy kaka feed night and day, making an untidy mess of bark and broken sticks where they have been. They are curious and cheeky making them wonderful birds to watch.
This is an A4 (21 cm x 29.5 cm) size fine art giclée print on German etching paper. It can fit an A4 frame or an 8 x 10 (20 cm x 25.5 cm) frame.
