Each Dragonfly greeting card is printed on a satin finish 300gsm white card and comes with an envelope. They are blank inside so can be used for any special occasion.
This ancient dragonfly has changed little since the time of the dinosaurs. It is New Zealand’s largest dragonfly with a wingspan of up to 13cm. The Māori name, kāpowai/water snatcher, refers to its clattering flight above water.
My artwork is created in response to the NZ wildlife, birds, and critters surrounding my life and studio on Hinewai Reserve. I am inspired by nature’s resilience and the critters who live and breed here. I create to protect our critters one artwork at a time.
