“Mackerel and Chips” is a celebration of summer days and carefree ways.
Each card is printed on a satin finish 300gsm white card and comes with an envelope. They are blank inside so can be used for any special occasion.
Our common seagull is heading toward the endangered list due to its poor diet and environmental loss.
Also known as the ‘mackerel gull’ it’s almost impossible to open the paper wrapping of our fish’n’chips without the gulls gathering for a feed. As fun as it is to feed birds, please don’t feed your chips or bread to our gulls.
My artwork is created in response to the NZ wildlife, birds, and critters surrounding my life and studio on Hinewai Reserve. I am inspired by nature’s resilience and the critters who live and breed here. I create to protect our critters one artwork at a time.
