These are printed on a satin finish, 300gsm white card with white envelopes. They are blank inside so can be used for any special occasion.
Many times, when I am outdoors at night the Ruru/Morepork, Aotearoa’s native owl, calls. I rarely see them, however, I know they see me. Like most owls, Ruru are silent hunters as the leading edge of their primary wing feathers are designed to reduce air turbulence. Another interesting fact about Ruru is that they can turn their heads through 270 degrees.
My artwork is created in response to the NZ wildlife, birds, and critters surrounding my life and studio on Hinewai Reserve. I am inspired by nature’s resilience and the critters who live and breed here. I create to protect our critters one artwork at a time.
